Healing breath is a breathwork therapy combining meditation with a simple technique of breathing help to release trauma and stress. In this way can help body recovery, re-balance hormones and circulation in the body.

Within this 1-day workshop, it includes morning asana practice, breathing practice, theory and explanation about meditation and practice meditation. The whole activity that can help you to understand you current condition and somewhat finding the way out or approach for you to free yourself from of this burden. Thus, your mind will be finally in peace.

Breathwork Friday

Description
Healing Breath is a slow-deep-continuous technique of the earth breath. Physically, this practice help to rebalance oxygen capacity in the body and transfer oxygen in places of the body that mostly are not getting oxygen in normal daily life. Mentally, this breathing technique helps to induce restricted mental sensations arise to the bodily sensation, and with help and support can be released during practice.

Human child born in this physical reality bringing purpose (wisdom) and also limitations. Wisdom are those self-understanding that we will learn from our personal-life experiences. While limitations are mostly caused by the birth process itself. There are at least four stages of prenatal matrix must be experienced by a human child before finally arrive in the haven of earth. Within the prenatal matrixes, a human child must taste and get through all darkness of deep-feeling experiences, such as fear/ insecurities, loneliness, separation, and physical difficulties that caused by the weight of gravity.

Unrecognized, these feelings are stored deep down in our sub-conscious-self. When our awareness and focus is weak and uncontrolled, means we have difficulties in focusing and the mind is very fast changing, wild, un-tamed and full of wondering thoughts; this deep-feeling give influenced to all of our action and deed. When our action is not what we want. When we do something we don’t love, this can cause problems.
The healing breath practice is a self-healing practice to recognize the form of this deep-feeling, help to release and express this feelings in order for it not to weight us down.

Description

Transformation weekend is one night of self-healing retreat with practice of yoga, meditation and breathwork and sound healing retreat program which best choice of things to do in Ubud. Through the night, we will be practicing in-depth exploration of the intellect through the understanding of meditation within sound and silent. Incorporating with transformation breathwork of Healing Breath help to release trauma, stress and tension in the body.

Being born as a human being is part of yoga. Yoga itself cannot be separated from our ordinary life. Yoga represent how we bring ourselves to the manifest the reality around us, and yet yoga shows us the path we must get through in order to become the best version of ourselves.

Within yoga practice; the meditation is filled up within each and every single moment of our doing and non-doing. Only balance between “art of doing” and “art of non-doing” can bring peaceful to an innocent heart. The heart itself must be cleanse from all defilements which causing much pain. In this term, we can use our intellect to make understanding of our own conditioning.

Meditation practice in this yoga retreat is being performed through asana, pranayama, silent meditation (which incorporating walking and seating meditation), breathing meditation and also sound meditation and healing. Healing session will be done through mantra, mudra and energetic cleansing to help the soul and spirit being purify and thus may act accordingly with pure intention.

This healing retreat may give you the feeling of relieve in your heart, for your mind is settle down with your pure feeling. This is the best state of mind to start the new path and new pattern of life, changing the path with knowledge that has known to be efficient to lift up and elevate the quality of life.

Healing Breath May 2019

Breathing is the biggest part of our life and yet most time we ignore it. We never really know is the quality of our breath. One of the thing that we don’t understand can be understood by learning about our breathing.

Breathing can help to be a happier person. But, this needs effort! On this workshop we will discuss about how breath connect to the condition of our body and how breath relate to many of our material experience both ways: positive and negative.

When we deal with negative reality, the mind become unstable and the breath become unstable, and the organ become unstable. This memories is saved within our material body. If this conditions are not being realized, and not being understood, it could bring greater problem and illness.

Happiness is a conscious process, we cannot be ignorant and be happy at the same time. This what we learn during the workshop!

It is true that we start this journey because there is a desire to change. And yet, only through a sincere intention this journey is completed.

I would like to thank you to all participants and facilitator who has helped me in this profound experience. It is true that we see ourselves in people surround us. Each of us have and understand each other, because we are part of each other.

“Silent Healing Program” August 2017

Healing Breath programs is a collective programs to share and learn about breathing technique with a specific approach. The technique on Healing Breath eventually targeting to create tremor on the physical body in order for the body to create reaction in the mental and emotional expression state in the natural way. Why do we need to allow the body to express this mental state? Because in every single part of our physical body that was hurt or storing pain from the previous trauma, that part of the body will create “residue” or the waste energy in different form. When this waste is not being cleaned, it will stay in the body. This waste can be stored in the body in the form of water, gas, mucus, tears, etc. Thus waste if stored in a long term might cause damage to the inner organs.

Diary: Facilitator Training Day#1

Dear U,

Another class-practice has passed and each time feeling gets deeper, pain gets more and more tangible. This pain that has long I carried, but never realize having it. This pain that has caused my chest feels heavy every time I try to breath deep.

The greatest fear has finally appeared. This fear that has haunted me all this time. Loneliness, fear of being dumped and unaccepted, fear of being rejected, fear of not being loved, fear of being hated (by everything). Everything I have called through my own ability, power and intentions.

Fear of seeing what my thoughts come true in this fabricated physical reality. All thoughts, including the good and the bad. Including all of my insecurity, including all of my shame.

Feeling of missing someone, or something. Those who love me but I pushed them away. I have refused them. Guilt was strong.

I was angry. Angry for what I have done, everything. Angry for being that person I was at that one moment of my life. I tried not to get angry, but I failed. I was still angry to that person I become at that case, in that moment. I wish I was stronger. I tried.

Sadness was monstrous. Throwing rocks at my chest. Creating ghost in my head, to make me run from it’s reality.

Sadness of me not having the ability to be in love.

I want to learn that. Please teach me.

Pasrah

Kepasrahan adalah satu-satunya kunci untuk dapat melewati seluruh proses hidup yang menyakitkan. Pengetahuan ini menjadi kunci dasar berlatih bagi kedua belah pihak, baik peserta maupun fasilitator. Satu-satunya untuk dapat pasrah adalah dengan mengenali dan memahami rasa sakit itu sendiri (baik dalam fenomena fisik maupun mental), bukan menghindarinya. Memahami rasa sakit tersebut dengan tujuan agar kita tidak mengalami rasa sakit itu kembali dikemudian hari atau di pengalaman yang lain.

Kesulitan untuk dapat merasa pasrah, dikarenakan masing-masing dari kita memiliki pengetahuan mengenai ego yang lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan pengetahuan mengenai alam bawah sadar (yang menjadi dasar insting alami manusia untuk menjalani hidupnya sebagai makhluk tertinggi dibandingkan dengan makhluk lain).

Kebanyakan dari kita masih memiliki kesulitan untuk menerima kenyataan hidup yang harus kita terima dikarenakan oleh “kesalahan dari kita sendiri”.

Pertanyaan selanjutnya mengapa kita berbuat salah? Apa sebenarnya kesalahan itu? Siapa yang menentukan hal tersebut salah (atau benar)? Kapan kita berbuat salah? Dimana kita berbuat salah? Ketika kita merasa bersalah (guilty), perasaan tersebut adalah ekspresi yang terpancar dalam kehiduan nyata fisik kita (realitas). Ketika tidak ada rasa bersalah dalam diri seseorang, artinya orang tersebut telah memiliki pemahaman mengenai apa yang diperbuatnya (being aware of what he does). Ia melakukan hal tersebut atas dasar dan tujuan untuk kebaikan dirinya dan kebaikan makhluk lain. Dengan demikian kegiatan yang dilaksanakannya dilaksanakan dengan penuh kesadaran, dengan demikian ia akan dapat mengetahui mana perbuatan yang dilakukan atas dasar ego, atau atas dasar sadar (yang sesuai dengan apa yang kita perlukan).

Kesulitan lain antara lain, kebanyakan dari kita tidak bertanggung jawab atas rasa bersalah tersebut, dengan tidak ingin merasa bersalah (dengan kata lain ingin menang sendiri).

Ketika seseorang telah dapat menyadari, mengakui dan mengekpresikan rasa bersalah tersebut, maka barulah perasaan lain akan dapat tereksresikan. Perasaan yang muncul kemudian antara lain marah (angry), sedih (sad), takut (fear/ insecurity), kesendirian (loneliness), dan sebagainya terkait dengan pengalaman apa yang pernah dialami olehnya semasa hidupnya. Perasaan negatif yang telah terekspresikan akan memberikan ruang bagi perasaan positif untuk dapat tumbuh dalam diri seseorang. Dengan begini seseorang tersebut telah mulai berlatih untuk dapat memahami arti kasih sayang (berbuat baik) kepada makhluk lainnya.

Sebenarnya telah diajarkan di berbagai kitab suci bahwa tidak ada manusia yang derajatnya lebih tinggi dari manusia lain (dimata semua makhluk sumber kehidupan). Mereka memiliki kekuatan dan kesempatan hidup yang sama. Apa yang diperbuatnya akan menjadi balasan yang didapatkannya semasa hidupnya, umat Hindu dan Buddha menyebutnya sebagai karma, umat Muslim dan Kristiani menyebutnya sebagai pahala. Semakin banyak kebaikan yang dilakukannya, maka semakin banyak pula kebaikan yang didapatkannya. Begitu sepengetahuan saya.

Being Vulnerable

“When I finally surrender, I don’t have to fight anymore. People who loves me stay close with me, and those who hurt me stay away.”

Being vulnerable is not only about being susceptible to physical or emotional attacks (harm). It is more about being strong to surrender to the destiny. Being vulnerable is not only about needing a special care or support or protection due to age, disability or risk to be abused or neglected. It is more about being brave to make decision and commit to do our best in this life, with full intention to fulfill the desire to become content, and continuously finding out and learning from mistakes.

Being vulnerable is the only thing that we can do for ourselves, to surrender and stop fighting for a little bit (at this moment). Being vulnerable is when we are continuously making efforts to be our best, but at the same time accepting whatever comes and consciously being grateful for what we have had.

Being vulnerable is accepting that everyone’s life have purpose and meaning differently. Being vulnerable is accepting that sometimes things are not always goes the way we want. Being vulnerable is accepting life as what is.

Sometimes I wish it’s easy to do all these things. We shall keep learning from life to be vulnerable.
